How You can Set Up Hisense 43 Inch TV

Setting up Hisense TV isn’t difficult and wont take up to 16 minutes of your time.

  1. Physical Setup

Attach the Hisense TV stand leg using the scroll provided. many people including me prefer wall mounting of TVs. So get VESA 200×200 mount if you prefer wall mounting instead of stand leg. Ensure the Hisense TV is on a stable surface with 10cm space or more.

  2. Power and Connections

Slot in the power cable into a 220V socket. I will advise you to use a surge protector or AVR due to power fluctuations in Nigeria.
Connect your DSTV decoder or PlayStation. Make sure HDMI port 1 to 3 device. Note HDMI port 1 is normally best for 4k devices.

  3. First Time Setup

Power and Connections. Use the on-screen prompts to choose preferred language, your country and Wi-Fi network.
You must connect to Google account which you need to provide your Google login details if you want to use voice search or skip and use it later.

  4. Using Hisense Smart Features

On our remote, press the “HOME” button to access the VIDAA menu. Once you click on the home button menu, you can open YouTube, Netflix and browser from there.
To connect your phone device, make sure your TV and mobile phone are on the same Wi-Fi. Go to your “Screen Mirroring” app in your Hisense smart TV and follow the step guide (prompt) on your android phone.

  5. Picture and Sound Adjustment

Go to Settings > Picture > to switch between Standard, Vivid, Cinema, and Sports modes. For most rooms in Nigeria, “Standard” or “Cinema” works best.
Under Sound, select “Theater” for movies and “News” for talk shows.

How to Maintain Your Hisense TV and Avoid Damage

A smart TV is an investment. With proper care, this unit can last 5–7 years without issues. Here’s what I’ve done and what you should continue doing:

Hisense TV 43 inch

  1. Protect your Smart TV against Power Surges

Nigeria Electricity supply is unstable. Make sure you buy a good AVR or surge protector before plug the TV. I won’t recommend you to plug the TV directly into the wall socket. This prevents board damage from sudden surges.

  2. Keep The TV Screen Clean

Ensure your TV screen is dusted weekly with a dry microfiber cloth. One thing I always tell people never to use Water, means of alcohol, or glass cleaner directly on the Hisense 43 inch TV screen. If you notice stain, use light dampen the cloth with little water and wipe it gently. Clean the back of the TV every month or 2 months to avoid dust buildup which can causes overheating.

  3. Heat and Ventilation Management

Make sure there is enough space at the back or bottom of the TV. Keep about 10cm to 13cm clearance from the wall. Placing the TV directly to sunlight nor heat source can causes damages to your TV. Heat can shorten the lifespan of the Hisense TV LED panel.

  4. Use Proper Brightness Settings

Running the Hisense Smart TV at 100% brightness 24/7 wears out the backlight quickly. Use “Eco” or “Standard” mode for daily viewing. Reserve “Vivid” mode for bright rooms or daytime sports.

  5. Turn off your TV Properly

Is not recommendable to turn off your TV from the wall socket directly while the TV is still running or on. The remote for Hisense smart tv is what you use to power it down first, then you switch off the AVR from the socket.

  6. Static Images is Avoidable:

Yes you can avoid static images for long periods by changing the news channels logo or game HUD for hours, it can causes risk of image retention. You need to use screensaver or change tv channels if you are going out.

  7. Handle the Remote and Ports Carefully*

Don’t force HDMI or USB cables into the ports. If it doesn’t fit, check the orientation. A broken HDMI port is an expensive repair.
Keep the remote away from water and high heat.

Why Buy Fairly Used From Me
